AMERICAN POET GREATS LECTURE
Tuesday, November 9, 7:30 p.m.
Richard Wilmarth
will discuss Kenneth Rexroth. Like William Carlos
Williams, Rexroth honed his writing to a
controlled and direct language. From his role in
the San Francisco Renaissance to his translations
of Japanese and Chinese poetry, he almost single-handedly
redefined the way in which American poetry was
written. Co-sponsored by The Museum of American
Poetics.

Frank McCourt, the author of the national

visits Boulder on his national tour for the new
sequel, 'Tis (Scribner, $26.00). In 'Tis,
McCourt tells the story of his American journey
from impoverished immigrant to brilliant teacher
and raconteur, in his own incomparable voice that
has made Angela's Ashes a modern classic.
This event
will sell out! Tickets are going fast as
